As getting up at 5a.m in the morning because of the heat and my kitten, I needed something to get me going. The very first tune that I played this morning was 'Chaos' by Mutemath. I thought I would share it with you all.This song always puts me in a weird mood- it initially makes my pulse go up to the point that I feel uneasy with the eccentric beats. (As the drum beast, Darren King, blasts prodigious beats in this song, I'm convinced that he is one of the best drummers alive. ) However, when I hear a part of the chorus, "I always see you when my sight is lost", I feel the anxiety is ceased right away. It is interesting to find myself relating to the song in an odd way.
The New Orleans trio is now ready for their 3rd album, 'Odd Soul', which is set to be released on October 4th, 2011.
