Yesterday was full of musical excitement: An announcement of Coachella's line-up, Van Halen's new video, The Shins' song premiere and announcement for a new album, the reunion of At the Drive-In. What stoked me the most amongst all this was the new album release by Great Lake Swimmers.
Toronto folk rock outfit announced the release of a new album, New Wild Everywhere, via Nettwerk. It is set to be unleashed on April 3rd. I've been waiting for the new record since 2009's masterpiece, Last Channel. They welcomed a returning producer, Andy Magoffin again for the new record at Toronto's Revolution Recording, while making some changes in the recording process. Upon the album release, the quintet is heading on the road. Toronto date is June 2nd at the Musical Hall. Tour dates
