Montreal based psychedelic/ opera collective, Yamakata// Sonic Titan have announced a Toronto show on Saturday, January 28th with the Pink Noise, US Girls, and Sexy Merlin.
Since the release of the new LP, 'YT//ST', Yamataka have been attracting attention from the media outfits, including Pitchfolk. As they describe their genre as 'Noh-wave', which indicates the creative heights and satisfactions of genre fusion. It starts with a ritual howl, echoing through with thunders in the opening song, 'Racoon Song'. It smoothly follows with a next tune, 'Queens', with the high-pitched aesthetic harmony. The collective showcases the great mix of various genres from psychedelic to opera, including facets from the two ends of the world. This show is something that you don't wanna miss.
