This is the result after a couple went through a life change experience.-North Carolina based folk duo, Bowerbirds have been through more than what you can imagine in the last couple years. In the midst of the last 2009 tour , Philip Moore and Beth Tacular called it quits on their long term relationship and as a result went on hiatus after the tour. Then to make things worse, Tacular became seriously ill. Realizing what it meant to be together, the two patched up their relationship and started creating music together again.
After Tacular recovered from the sickness the duo are back on track both personally and professionally, their 3rd album, Cleaning was released this week via Dead Oceans.
This album expresses a peaceful state of mind rather than emphasizing the chaos that the couple have experienced. However, there’s a profound impression left beyond the sounds. To learn more, you can watch the short documentary below:
