A Primitive Evolution, I Feel It All

Toronto hard rock band, A Primitive Evolution have been working on their acoustic effort since last year and it sounds like the quartet is a step away from finalizig the record.

Prior to the album release, APE have unveiled a video of a single, I Feel it All from the record. (It took me a while to realize that the video was released. So tell me, how did I end up missing this video release?) Anyhow, once I commenced listening to the song, I was immediately mesmerized with the progression of the song. I love that the gravity of the song lightens up just before the chorus, withdrawing the listener to the creative APE world. In addition, the song climaxes with a complete different feel to the song.  At last, but not least, kudos for the awesome artworks for the video shoot. My eyes and ears are pleased.

Meanwhile, they have been very quiet in terms of their shows this year due to their busy recording schedule. Count me as one of long-awaiting fans. They announced a few shows in Ontario, including a Toronto show at Cherry Cola's on Thursday, May 10th. Who is gonna join me?

I see the world different than you
Parasites and bloodlines streaming through
Millions of years will pass on I see the end of us all
It’s time for transgression and you feel it too
I know you do

Cause I feel it all, I feel it all,
Now that you’re gone I feel it all
I have seen the truth of a damaged heart
I have seen the tears of a world apart
What do we know?

So full of sorrow and regret
Why let them poison your mind like that?
The pressure has been put on to fulfill the will of God’s son
It’s time for transgression and you feel it too
I know you do

Cause I feel it all, I feel it all,
Now that you’re gone I feel it all
I have seen the truth of a damaged heart
I have seen the tears of a world apart
What do we know?

I took a chance wanted to see if I was wrong
and it was exactly as I thought
I look to the sky hoping they would see, that it’s me
I’m ready to go home
